My initial raid array is starting to getting 100% filled up with movies, series, music, wikipedia and other wiki dumps, temporary torrents, a warez share and so on.
Time to order new disks!
Disks nowadays have much more capacity at a lower price so this upgrade consists mostly of 10TB disks. My homeserver enclosure and especially the number of SATA ports on the mainboard are limited, therefore we have to return to USB3.0 Sata housings!

The new flat has some some really shitty fuses that go off whenever I turn on any big load in any room such as my main PC or the vacuum. The constant outages require a small UPS for the server so my filesystems won’t start corrupting at some point.
Also with the new additional disks the power consumption again went up by around 20W, totaling at around 80-100W currently!
